€163.5 million won by a one Italian lottery player in 2016
This was a record lottery win by a single player which happened on 28thOctober 2016. The winning was record breaking in the world having been won by a single individual and overtaken the American Powerball; which is only limited to $150 million. However, the identity of the winner, who bought the ticket for €3 is yet to be revealed. The ticket had been bought in Domenico Lo Bianco, a Catanian news agent in a small town in Italy. The winning numbers was a combination of: 3, 12, 23, 71, 76, and 83 with 56 as the aEjolly number’ and 35 as the aEsuperstar number’. This was the first time within the year that a single jackpot winner had all the six numbers. As at that time, this was the highest amount to have been won in a single player. The Italian (who preferred to remain anonymous) had bought the ticket for €2 in Bagnone, Tuscane, Italy. The winner had a combination of the following numbers: 4, 32, 34, 56, 61 and 82. The jolly number’ was 81 while the superstar number was 6.

This is the fifth largest jackpot amount to have been won in SuperEnalotto jackpot. The ticket was bought for €2 in a small town: Caltanissetta in Sicily, Italy. The winner had a combination of the following number: 12, 23, 39, 54, 72 and 73. The jolly number was 53 while 17 was the superstar number. More than a 100 draws had been done prior to the jackpot winning. The winner, whose identity is not known is believed to have come from a humble background; having bought the ticket in an area associated with humble working population.
€139 million won by 2 Italians on February 2010
The ticket with which the lottery was won was bought in a small Italian town: in an island known as Tuscany, Pistoia. The winners had the following combination of numbers: 20, 22, 24, 40, 52 and 80 with 60 as the jolly number and 82 as the superstar number. The two individuals shared the amount equally after deducting government revenue. One of the winner was from Parma while the other from Pistoia.
